Job summary

A leading energy company based in Singapore is seeking a seasoned manager for LNG and oil/gas projects. The role demands extensive experience in managing major projects and vendor relationships. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of contract law and effective communication skills. This is a 2-year contract position offering a salary of around $10,000, negotiable based on experience. Local candidates are preferred, while foreign applicants must hold valid passes and relevant project experience.

Qualifications

• 15 years of related working experience with at least 10 years in a management position.
• Minimum 5 years in similar management roles in major LNG and oil/gas projects.
• Must have valid work pass in Singapore for foreign candidates.

• Manage EPC phase to ensure timely availability of vendor data.
• Expedite and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers regarding cost, quality, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• 15 years of related working experience and at least 10 years in Management position.
• Must have minimum 5 years of similar management position in major LNG & oil/gas projects (experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory)
• Managing EPC phase to ensure timely availability of vendor data;
• Managing EPC phase to expedite and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials;
• Considerable knowledge of contract law and purchasing terms, including legal/financial aspects.
• Manage suppliers, cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Sound Product knowledge and effective communication of product requirements to suppliers.
• Maintains and promotes sound relationships with suppliers.
• Local Singaporeans and PRs are desirable
• For foreign candidates: must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience.

Location: Ubi/ Jurong Port

Salary: $10,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

This is a 2-year contract role.
