Job summary

ALIGN RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Purchasing Assistant on a 1-year contract to support our purchasing function and shipping operations at our East Singapore location.

The role handles paperwork, purchase orders, reports, and coordination with forwarders, ensuring permits and documents are in order, with work hours from 8:00 to 17:30, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as purchasing assistant.

Responsibilities

• To assist with the purchase function for paperwork and alternate site shipping arrangements.
• Create reports, issue purchase orders, and track delivery and lead times.
• Make shipping arrangements with the forwarder and make sure the permit is applied on time.
• Making shipment paperwork, including packing lists, invoices, and other necessary papers.
• Work together with the appropriate departments to guaranty a seamless shipping, pack in accordance with standards, and deliver on schedule.
• Documentation and shipment arrangements between businesses on different sites.
• Manage all shipping issues, including damage to cargo and issues with customs clearance.
• Make sure all paperwork, including quotes, purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, and others, is filed correctly.
• Additional ad hoc administrative tasks.
