Key responsibilities?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for value creation, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement subcategory strategies to optimise procurement and sourcing activities across legal entities and the Asia Pacific region.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, including procurement policies, procedures, regulations, and ESG requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and analyses to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on procurement performance, improvement opportunities, potential risks, and KPIs related to contract management.
  • Participate in procurement, risk, and compliance projects across Liberty International Insurance Asia Pacific (LII APAC), Liberty International Insurance (LII), and Liberty Mutual (LM).
  • Collaborate with Operational Resilience, Procurement teams, LII APAC, LII, and LM to ensure alignment and adoption of best practices.
  • Assist with the maintenance of Procurement intranet pages, SharePoint, Jira, and future tools or systems to ensure they remain current and fit for purpose.

  • Proven experience managing RFPs, developing scoring matrices, and guiding stakeholders through the process
  • Experience in risk management and commercial contract management
  • Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
