Position: Procurement, Inventory & Warehousing Manager
Working Days: 5 days (Mon-Fri)
Working Timing: 830am – 530pm
Working Location: Harbourfront Centre
Starting Salary: $4800 - $6000 (depend on exp)
Job Summary
The Procurement, Inventory & Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the
acquisition of goods and materials, managing 3P warehouse operations, and ensuring optimal inventory levels. This role requires a hands-on approach in operations, strategic planning, supplier relationship management, and coordination with various departments to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
Develop and implement procurement strategies together with Finance to ensure cost-effective purchasing (both internal and external sources).
Build vendor relationships, identify and evaluate suppliers in line with regional and global needs, negotiate contracts.
Good understanding and working knowledge of SAP R3 or S4 – specifically MM module.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
Monitor market trends and assess risks related to supply chain disruptions.
Maintain operating procedures within team in line with business needs.
Master data maintenance – material & vendor
Warehouse Operations
Oversee 3rd party warehouse and storage requirements.
Ensure efficient receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods.
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Optimize cost of warehouse space and managing workflow efficiency.
Inventory Planning & Demand
Enhance and refresh inventory forecast based on demand trends and business requirements.
Engage with product stewardship in current program on Globally 1 Product (G1P).
Maintain accurate inventory records using data from ERP, applicable software tools.
Conduct stock audits and cycle counts to minimize discrepancies.
Implement strategies to reduce excess and aging stock and prevent shortages at regional level.
Qualifications & Soft Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems.
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
Experience in logistics and distribution management.
Knowledge of lean inventory practices and warehouse automation.
Possess at least 2-3 years of experience as a team lead/assistant manager overseeing a small team.
