The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

  • Providing end-to-end category and sub-category leadership, serving as the global leader for procurement Fleet
  • Responsible for driving supplier consolidation, while helping 3M and the Procurement organization meet its cost savings and working capital goals.
  • Developing and implementing the global sub-category strategy to ensure business continuity, resilience, and value creation
  • Leading supplier selection and owning external supplier relationships as the key point of contact for 3M, leading negotiations, being part of effective Category Management, and managing complex supplier relationships.
  • Developing strong partnerships with suppliers and internal 3M stakeholders, including Enterprise Workplace Strategy Global Fleet Manager, Regional EWS Fleet Leader and Finance.
  • Business reviews with key stakeholders to support collaboration, service, capacity, market insights, savings pipeline, and performance improvement
  • Driving year over year profitability & free cash flow improvements through highly complex supplier negotiation and development
  • Influencing internal stakeholders to prioritize activities that drive cost reduction, working capital improvement, risk reduction, efficiency, competitiveness for the global category
  • Establishing and managing highly strategic supplier relationships that provide access to leading technologies and capabilities
  • Negotiating and establishing multi-divisional highly complex vendor contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality and best in class service
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.

Your Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Seven (7) years or more of combined sourcing, procurement, supply chain experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Negotiation experience
  • Results driven, successfully collaborating with internal & external stakeholders on complex projects
