Job summary

Right Recruit Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Buyer for a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will manage procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure optimal service and material delivery terms while fostering strong business relationships. Candidates should have a Diploma, 2-5 years of relevant experience, and be fluent in Mandarin to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Min 2-5 years’ relevant working experience in Marine/O&G/Construction/Building/Manufacturing sector or related field.
• Good working experience in buying EPC project machinery, equipment and bulk purchase.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the right material and services will be provided at the optimum price, delivery and favourable terms & conditions.
• Evaluation of technical proposals based on engineering specification.
• To source, negotiate and purchase materials and services from identified sources, local and overseas.
• To advise requestor on selection of suppliers and purchase terms & conditions.
• To negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimum price, delivery and favourable terms & conditions.
• To generate purchase orders, monitor and follow up and expedite with suppliers on delivery of goods and services.
• To review supplier’s performance on price and delivery and to coordinate with supplier and QA/QC on quality issues.
• Prepares bidder lists and releases request for quotations.
• Establishes and maintains strong business relationship with suppliers.
