Job description

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a local company founded in 2020, to develop strategic measures for healthcare-related projects, aiming to safeguard and enhance local communities through targeted training and preparatory programs, and we are seeking to hire a Procurement Executive to join their business. As a sole contributor reporting to the HR Manager, the successful incumbent will be handling indirect procurement activities, such as managing office pantry supplies, overseeing replenishment processes, and handling the renewal of existing contracts for office maintenance services etc.

  • Work location: Central region, near Promenade MRT
  • Work hours: Mondays - Fridays, 8:45am - 6pm
  • Basic salary up to $5,000 + AWS + Variable Bonuses

The Job:

  • Sourcing and selecting suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and services.
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and pricing.
  • Managing relationships with existing suppliers and identifying potential new suppliers.
  • Liaise with suppliers on defective goods and take corrective action.
  • Maintain minimum supply inventory levels and negotiate any emergency deals with vendors.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as project to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations while ensuring documents are properly filed for easy traceability.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • To perform other administrative tasks and ad-hoc duty from management when required.

The Talent:

  • Degree in any relevant discipline.
  • At least 3 years of indirect procurement experience in any industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proactive, ability to function independently and able to pick up new skills quickly.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with various stakeholders.
