Job description

Procurement Executive (Healthcare Equipment) - Up to 5.5K #HHL

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the planning and procurement of medical and non-medical equipment, and furniture where applicable.
• Lead user workgroups, facilitate effective discussions, set targets, and review performance metrics and work plans.
• Ensure projects stay within budget and support budgetary planning and control.
• Collaborate with user departments and stakeholders to prepare tender specifications.
• Evaluate tender submissions and provide recommendations based on technical compliance.
• Support tender committees in equipment and service evaluation.
• Stay informed on healthcare planning trends and developments.
• Assist other campus planning functions and support Group BME activities.
• Provide technical advice to end users and senior management.
• Manage external contractors and monitor service and tender obligations.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or relevant engineering field.
• Min. 3 years of experience in the servicing and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Prior experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, planning, and project management capabilities.
• Able to solve problems, negotiate, and present ideas effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Meticulous, analytical, and able to see the bigger picture.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities independently.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity and IT network infrastructure is an advantage.
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to work under tight timelines in a dynamic environment.
