Job description

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products, materials, and services necessary for the operations/projects of the organization.
They work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the organization gets the best quality products at competitive prices, delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform full spectrum of procurement activities
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors, establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  3. Negotiate commercial terms incl. of pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and etc. with suppliers/vendors. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost.
  4. Assist in process of procurement, generate, validate and maintain change of Purchase Order System according to project needs
  5. Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased
  6. Input and maintain data in procurement related tools and applications
  7. Source and on-board potential suppliers where required and to follow correct procedures and documentation when engaging suppliers
  8. Ensure that all assigned supplier contracts are up to date and all records are save appropriately
  9. Support and maintain quality management system (ISO 9001)
  10. Assist of the office IT coordination matters with external technical support for troubleshooting, all PC hardware and software assets management, email set-ups.
  11. Any ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior or procurement manager


Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Certificate/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related construction field (preferred).
  2. 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  3. Strong negotiation skills, experience with supplier management and knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
