A leading company in the healthcare sector seeks a Procurement Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement process for medical instruments, devices, and consumables. This role entails operational procurement activities, strategic negotiations, and inventory management, ensuring regulatory compliance across surgery centers and the corporate office.
The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for medical instruments, devices, consumables, and other supplies. This role involves daily procurement operations, strategic negotiations, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across all surgery centers and the corporate office.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire procurement cycle, including evaluating and comparing medical instruments, devices, and consumables.
Manage daily operational procurement activities for surgery centers and the corporate office.
Negotiate quotations and purchasing contracts to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
Maintain records of requisitions, secure CEO approval, and process purchase requisitions accordingly.
Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize procurement effectiveness.
Identify and implement actions to improve efficiencies or reduce operational costs.
Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., MOH guidelines).
Independently handle assigned procurement activities.
Manage and monitor stock inventory, including inter-department transfers.
Verify purchased items and update the inventory system accurately.
Generate purchase requisitions/orders within the system and manage invoice accuracy against quotations prior to payment processing.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams to address procurement needs and requests.
Lead the annual stock inventory audit in collaboration with the nursing team.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare procurement.
Familiarity with stock inventory management systems (e.g., SCMS) is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with an ability to secure favorable terms.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting team goals
