A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Procurement Specialist to develop sourcing strategies and enhance supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and several years of experience in procurement to ensure cost-efficient operations and compliance with policies.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and cost-efficiency targets.
Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
Lead contract discussions with a focus on value, compliance, and ethical practices.
Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery of materials while resolving shipment or quality issues.
Work closely with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Finance) to meet business requirements.
Stay ahead of market trends and supply chain risks to support informed procurement decisions.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations.
Take on additional responsibilities to support operational needs as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields
4–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proven track record in cost savings and supplier performance improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Familiar with procurement systems/technology platforms
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced setting
