Job Description

• Responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing and procurement operations to fulfil the order enquiries timely.
• Work and coordinate closely with site, vendors, PM, QS and other related functions in sourcing/procuring required items
• Negotiate with vendors / contractors to ensure “best value for money” buys are executed and transparent purchasing process
• Review all submissions of document involving purchasing before submitting for Management’s approval
• Perform competitive bidding when required for new purchases to ensure cost competitiveness without sacrificing quality
• Create invoices in software and maintain records/file in the system
• Monitor the purchase orders and ship items according to the required dates
• Arrange and coordinate closely the shipment request with the logistic team/appointed forwarders
• Build and establish rapport with suppliers for service & quality improvement
• Conduct supplier review and develop strategy for improvement
• Attend, liaise and close any quality related issues with the vendors and site
• Other ad-hoc jobs related to sourcing, procurement and shipping.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma
• Preferred 3 years’ relevant working experiences. Candidate with more years' of experience may be considered for a senior position
• Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of vendor sourcing practices
• Comfortable with informational hunt and have good analytical skills
• Experience in online shopping platform (such as Taobao, Amazon etc) will be a value add.
• Prefer to have work experience in any of these areas: Resorts or Hotel procurement or Electrical engineering and not limited to those mentioned above.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
• Possess a proactive and strategic mindset with hands-on attitude and uncompromised integrity and business ethics
