Job summary

A dynamic organization in Singapore seeks a Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities and strategies in the retail sector. The successful candidate will ensure quality and compliance in stock management while liaising with various departments to optimize inventory and cash flow. Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management and possess at least two years of relevant purchasing experience, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing experiences, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective management and control of all procurement activities.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies.
  • Ensure overall quality & quantity management of stock, cost, product ranges, stock rotation, turnover, regulatory & compliances.
  • Work with different department to do demand planning and ordering of inventory for various brands and to ensure cashflow is in-line with project through timely.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contract terms on pricing and product quality.
  • Conduct verification and match delivery order, purchase order and other documentation for finance processing.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing experiences, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint.
