About the role

We are looking for an experienced Purchaser/Procurement Executive to join the team at Sunland (S) Pte. Ltd., a leading manufacturing and logistics company based in Defu Industrial Park in the North-East region. This full-time role will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and services to support our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

• Sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality materials and services

• Negotiating favourable pricing and terms with suppliers to maximise value for the business

• Placing purchase orders, monitoring delivery, and resolving any issues that arise

• Maintaining detailed records of all procurement activities and expenditures

• Identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes and drive cost savings

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as production, finance, and logistics teams

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills to secure favorable deals with suppliers

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

• Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software

• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to identify and resolve issues

• Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics processes
