Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our manufacturing operations team. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, packaging, and production supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships, including cost negotiations and contract terms
• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers to meet production timelines
• Monitor inventory levels and work with warehouse to optimize stockholding
• Resolve supplier performance issues and quality discrepancies
• Maintain up-to-date procurement records in ERP system
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP/ISO22000
• Liaise with internal teams including QA, Production, and Finance for seamless operations

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant discipline

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Meticulous and organised with good analytical skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with import documentation and food industry compliance is an added advantage
