About the role

Join the team at Stamford Tyres International Pte Ltd as a full-time Procurement Executive based in the Joo Koon West Region. In this role, you will play a key part in tyre operations of the company, with a focus on Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory.

What you'll be doing

• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with tire manufacturers, primarily in Asia (China, Thailand, Vietnam etc.) Source completive pricing, terms and MOQ while ensuring supplier reliability and performance. Manage long-term partnerships and conduct periodic reviews and factory audit

• Collaborate with internal teams to define tire specification, pattern design, construction and product lines based on market research and sales input.

• Manage prototype sampling, internal testing, 3rd party certification and final product approval.

• Plan and process tire orders in line with MOQ requirements and sales forecast.

• Track production and shipment timelines to ensure timely availability of stock.

• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse and finance department for end to end order execution

• Maintain an up-to-date registry of all proprietary tire Moulds owned by the company across various manufacturers.

• Plan and track the production cycles and usage of each Moulds to optimize ROI and lifespan.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure proper Mould storage, upkeep and preventive maintenance schedules.

• Monitor Mould wear and tear and initiate refurbishment or replacement when necessary.

• Maintain detailed product cost sheets, tracking landed cost, freight, duties and margin.

• Analyse sales performance, pricing competitiveness and recommend cost saving measure.

• All other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management

What we're looking for

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Above 2 years in procurement or purchasing role, ideally within the manufacturing or tyre related industry

• Proficiency in procurement software and systems

• Ability to secure favorable terms and analyze cost-saving opportunities

• Strong ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams
