The Procurement Executive will play a critical role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to achieve our business objectives. S/he will be responsible for managing procurement processes for the organization, ensuring that goods and services are obtained at the best possible prices while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devising and executing cost-efficient and effective procurement and sourcing strategies
  • Keeping up with industry trends, regularly reviewing and sourcing for new suppliers for better quality ingredients or merchandise, payment terms and price points
  • Engaging and negotiating with external vendors and suppliers to secure best possible contractual terms
  • Review purchase orders and ensure that all purchasing activities comply with organizational policies and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records including details on price, performance, and delivery in internal Purchasing and Inventory system
  • Working together with logistics partners to handle goods shipping, receiving and distribution both internally within the company and externally to clients and guests
  • Working closely with restaurant teams, ensuring overall quality and quantity of stock management, cost and margin enhancement, stock rotation and turnover, and compliance to regulations
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities and present findings to senior management

Qualifications

  • Familiar with procurement and inventory management processes in a supermarket, retail or F&B setting;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
  • Demonstrated love and appreciation for food and hospitality;
  • Organized and like to keep others on track;
  • Able to manage multiple projects and streams of communication with partners and vendors efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
  • Work independently and cross-functionally, collaborate, seek solutions, and accomplish tasks with little supervision;
  • A love for leveraging on technology to improve work efficiency and effectiveness
