Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities and associated contracts. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include maintaining procurement documentation, collaborating with project teams, and monitoring procurement operations. Candidates with experience in the water and wastewater industries will be preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working experience in procurement.
• Experience in water/wastewater or waste to energy industries preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical works covering fabrication and piping works.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with project leads and procurement teams.

• Conversant of purchasing exercise and familiar with associated contractual terms and conditions for Procurement Works
• Maintain procurement records and documentation.
• Communicate and work very closely with the project team for preparation of the invitation of the request for Proposal and administering of the purchase requisition and award consent with the project team.
• Collaborating with procurement team in day-to-day procurement operation.
• Collaborating with Project Leads in project budget monitoring.
• With experience in auditing and its procedures and compliances.
• With good oral and written command in English and with effective communication skills with all levels and he/she shall be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Requirements

• At least 3 years working experience and with either a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management.
• With good knowledge and experience in procurement role in the past covers purchasing and associated contractual administration works.
• Positive thinking and with supportive atmosphere amongst the procurement team
• Preferably with those with at least 2 years of experience in water and wastewater or waste to energy industries
• Preferably with those with good knowledge of mechanical works cover fabrication and piping works
