Job Description:
As a Procurement Executive with a focus on global sourcing and inventory coordination, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services. You will also work closely with warehousing and inventory teams to align purchasing decisions with stock levels, demand forecasts, and operational needs across global locations.
Roles
- Source and evaluate international suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure optimal value and long-term supplier partnerships.
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving discrepancies.
- Handle urgent and ad-hoc procurement needs due to operational changes or supply disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, import/export controls, and internal procurement policies.
- Work closely with warehouse and inventory teams to monitor stock levels and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Align procurement activities with inventory forecasts, reorder points, and seasonal demand patterns.
- Coordinate with warehousing teams to ensure timely receipt and storage of goods.
- Support inventory planning initiatives by providing supplier lead times, delivery schedules, and availability updates.
- Assist in optimizing inventory turnover and reducing holding costs through strategic purchasing.
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in procurement including sourcing, negotiation skills and contract management.
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in global sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning and warehouse coordination.
- Familiarity with global trade compliance, customs regulations, and import/export documentation.
- Experience in procurement and inventory systems on ERP platforms.
