Job description

Responsibilities: -

  • Ensure accuracy of inventory records, monitor and identify slow moving stock where applicable
  • Analyse ordering frequency, monitor stock level and place orders as needed
  • Maintain procurement listing, suppliers database and Purchase Orders
  • Continuously reviewing and negotiating with supplier for better pricing and delivery terms
  • Work closely with QC to resolve any quality issues and yearly audit
  • Actively sourcing for alternative suppliers with competitive prices
  • Administer full document control for the arrival of goods in the warehouse
  • Communicate shipment details to relevant stakeholders
  • Liaise and visit with suppliers to ensure orders imports comply to the Singapore import legislation
  • Handle customs, shipment, and import matters
  • Handle all related claims & follow up with suppliers promptly

Requirements: -

  • Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Min. 1 years of procurement experience
  • 5.5 days work week
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and ERP systems
  • Good team player, with a strong sense of urgency to deadlines
  • Meticulous and organised, with an eye for accuracy in document control
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
