A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Procurement Engineer for their client in the Precision Manufacturing industry. This position involves managing the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Candidates must have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. This role is located in the East Area of Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Assist Procurement Manager with KPIs and management reports.
• Coordinate RTV matters with Quality team and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end procurement using ERP systems.
• Handle RFQs, vendor sourcing, bid evaluation, and purchase orders.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply issues.
• Monitor inventory and support reorder planning.
• Conduct cost analysis and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain supplier and material data in ERP.
• Support training of junior buyers and monitor vendor performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
