Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive BOM cost savings by renegotiating supplier contracts and improving sourcing strategies.
- Reduce OPEX spend through procurement-led cost-saving initiatives and vendor optimization.
- Enforce budget discipline, ensuring ≥95% adherence to BOM and OPEX allocations.
- Improve supplier performance in quality, pricing, and on-time delivery through regular reviews and action plans.
- Streamline procurement processes to shorten cycle time and ensure material readiness for monthly builds.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred (especially with finance or operations focus).
- 10+ years in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record in cost control (OPEX + BOM), supply chain optimization, and supplier negotiations, ideally with Chinese suppliers or global CM partners.
- Experience working in hardware manufacturing environments with ad-hoc, ECN-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in turning around underperforming procurement teams, with measurable cost and performance improvements.
- Exposure to private equity-owned businesses or high-growth scaleups undergoing internal control implementation (e.g., division of authority, maker-checker, ERP workflows).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools for procurement and inventory management.
