A leading company in procurement seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing for construction and renovation projects in Singapore. The role involves end-to-end procurement management, stakeholder collaboration, and mentorship of team members. Candidates should possess 5-8 years of relevant experience, especially in public sector procurement, to drive sustainable outcomes effectively.

Qualifications

Job description

Duration: 1 year

Location: One North

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 6pm; Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Provide procurement expertise for construction, renovation, relocation, and facilities management projects, ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
  • Advise project teams on procurement planning and best practices for major relocation and facilities initiatives.
  • Manage procurement processes end-to-end, including preparing tender documentation and utilizing e-procurement systems such as GeBIZ and Ariba.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project managers to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
  • Develop and implement category strategies for sustainable procurement outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide team members to enhance overall procurement capability and support continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc procurement-related initiatives and organizational projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience, including at least 3 years in sourcing and category management for major renovation or relocation projects.
  • Good understanding of public sector procurement policies, including familiarity with GeBIZ, Government Supplier Registration (GSR), and BCA guidelines.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across departments and deliver results within timelines and resource constraints.
  • Experience mentoring or developing procurement professionals is a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
