Primary Purpose:

The Procurement team focus is to generate strategic business value (bottomline, topline, innovation, sustainability, service levels, quality, etc) through working with the business/vendors, connecting the dots, to meet operational requirements for non-merchandise/indirect spend and build best-in-practice procurement process across all Tapestry brands.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to:

  • Manage SEA & ANZ Indirect Procurement categories (Marketing/Digital, Corporate Services, Store Ops and Packaging)
  • Procurement support for SEAA Indirect Procurement categories (IT, Transportation & Logistics)
  • Work with key stakeholders to establish requirements, specifications and operational needs for assigned sourcing projects
  • Collaborate with the functional stakeholders to conduct 6 steps sourcing process on relevant projects – profile category, sourcing strategy (align baseline with finance), execute RFX, negotiation strategy, business award (align savings with finance) and contract management
  • Identify new suppliers and develop their capabilities
  • Manage the performance of existing vendors on cost, quality and service levels.
  • Work closely with the Regional and Global Procurement team to execute procurement initiatives for assigned categories
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationship if necessary
  • Perform market spend analysis, savings tracking, input in system and report realized savings on a continuous basis
  • Perform SEAA contract management process through Docusign with e-signature and contract uploading

The accomplished individual will possess:

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of strategic sourcing experience or procurement consulting experience
  • Demonstrated success in gathering data, conducting analysis (Total Cost of Ownership), and generating high quality outputs
  • Build positive team relationships and trust through strong on-time delivery of projects, high quality, continuous innovation, and exceeding expectations
  • Negotiation skills, ability to analyze and solve problems
  • High level of accuracy and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English to speak with suppliers from China
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel (pivot table, vlookup) and PowerPoint)
