Job description

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Processing of new and renewal business for annual and contract insurance classes; notably but not limited to Fire Insurance, Workmen Injury, Marine and Miscellaneous classes of insurance

  • Ensure accurate data-entry of policy information

  • Ensure timely policy documentation and issuance

  • Enforce standards in policy documentation and compliance with Underwriting standards.

  • Scanning and filing of documents

  • Undertake special tasks as assigned by the Head of Section and/or Head of Department.


Competencies:

  • At least one year experience in data-entry work

  • Good typing skills

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Words and Excel)

  • Ability to develop and maintain rapport with intermediaries

  • Strong team player, passionate about life and work.
