Program Overview

This traineeship is ideal for graduates who are curious about how high-tech products are made and want to explore a career in the semiconductor industry. You’ll be part of a supportive team, receive hands‑on training, and work alongside experienced engineers and technicians.

No engineering or technical background? No problem — Micron welcomes graduates from all disciplines, and full training will be provided.

As a Trainee, You Will Be Trained On:
  • Learning how products are made and how each step in the process affects the final outcome.
  • Helping to check for issues during production and learning how to report and solve them.
  • Supporting engineers in making small changes to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Joining experiments and learning how changes in materials or settings can improve results.
  • Checking that the right materials and machine settings are used before production starts.
  • Looking at simple data to understand how well the process is working and sharing findings.
  • Helping to improve how things are done, including updating instructions and training others.
  • Learning about new materials and equipment and helping test if they are suitable for use.
  • Understanding how earlier and later steps in production affect product quality.
  • Communicating clearly with team members and sharing what you’ve learned to help others.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Graduates with a Diploma, Higher Nitec, or Nitec from a local institution.
  • No engineering or STEM background required — we welcome applicants from all fields of study.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.
  • A team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
