Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Process Technician to ensure smooth operations in line with the production plan. Job description

Roles

Process Technician will be part of the Operations Team responsible for ensuring Operations processes run smoothly as per production plan. The incumbent is expected to be proficient in troubleshooting and resolving operations and process issues.

Responsibilities
  • Manage safe start up and shutdown of process/unit
  • Ensure routine tasks and operations checklists are completed as scheduled
  • Issue and close safe work permits and ensure work activities are carried out safely
  • Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift change
  • Participate in Environment, Safety, Health and Compliance programs
Requirements
  • Diploma with background in chemical or mechanical
  • At least 2 years’ of relevant experience in a manufacturing/polymer plant
  • Possess Class 1 or Class 2 local boiler attendant certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good team player, with strong self-initiative
  • Experience in DCS operations and controls
  • Supervisory skills is advantageous
  • Willing to perform 12hour rotating shift work
