Job summary

OVIVO SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a piping design engineer to join our process plants team. You will design, review and optimize piping layouts, prepare material specs, and coordinate stress analyses to meet project and code requirements.

Responsibilities include generating drawings, liaising with clients and project managers, and contributing value engineering during tenders. A degree in a relevant engineering discipline and several years of design/engineering experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering in relevant MEP discipline.
• Several years of job experience in design & engineering of process plants is preferred.
• Good sketching skills and ability to communicate thoughts concisely.
• Good communication skills essential for team-based working.
• Analytical problem solving and time management.

Responsibilities

• Design, review and optimize piping layouts to meet requirements.
• Prepare and review piping material specifications.
• Coordinate/validate pipe stress analysis.
• Review/generate piping, supports and isometrics drawings.
• Coordinate with client and project managers on site works.
• Provide value engineering proposals during tender.
