Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Woodlands, Singapore, is seeking an Associate Engineer for Process Integration and Yield Engineering. The role supports technology development and high-volume manufacturing, analyzing yield data and defect inspection results to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in AI tools and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Support process integration and yield engineering activities for technology development and high-volume manufacturing.
• Analyze yield performance, electrical test data, inline metrology, and defect inspection data to identify yield limiters and process issues.
• Perform data mining and statistical analysis to support root-cause investigations and process optimization.
• Assist in executing Design of Experiments (DOE) and evaluate results to support process improvements.
• Monitor process performance indicators and support Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation.
• Support technology characterization, qualification, and release activities.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for engineering reviews.
