RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automation components, equipment, test instruments, and processes.
- Conduct engineering study, trial, and failure investigation.
- Assist in or execute Installation, Operation, Performance/process qualification protocols.
- Ensure test/manufacturing processes/equipment meet calibration requirements, yield, and scrap targets.
- Provide basic technical support on assigned materials for production or customer-identified material problems.
- Maintain spare parts.
- Determine inspection criteria for incoming materials.
- Coordinate and perform component selection and qualification.
- Evaluate new equipment, coordinate software and hardware upgrades, help determine equipment operational parameters through DOE, and recommend new equipment.
- Act as the focal point for all product-related technical issues.
- Assist Engineers in interacting with customers to update them on Engineering evaluation related matters (e.g., Scheduling, Data Findings, and Results).
- Assist Engineers in interacting with customers to resolve problems and increase the quality and yield of the product.
- Provide feedback to other engineering groups and possibly the customer to ensure smooth production of products.
- Solve assigned technical product, process, component, or material problems affecting efficient manufacture of products within a specific area of responsibility in training or under direction/guidance of more experienced engineers.
- Participate in Kaizen and/or Lean Continuous Improvement projects.
- Write reports and complete documentation of engineering actions/activities, maintenance, and calibration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering disciplines.
- More than 2 years of relevant work experience in any or all of the following departments (Manufacturing/Process/Equipment) within a semi/fully automation environment.
- Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems and principles of operation.
- Strong knowledge of the setup, operation, and maintenance of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing processes.
- Experience in Lean/Kaisen projects is advantageous.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems.
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of industry and quality standards.
- Ability to evaluate materials, gather and analyze data, and determine the root cause of problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers.

- Shift A: 7am – 7pm [Alternate Wednesday to Every Saturday] - Shift Allowance of $9.50 Per Day
- Shift B: 7am – 7pm [Every Sunday to alternate Wednesday] - Shift Allowance of $10.50 Per Day
- Shift C: 7pm – 7am [Alternate Wednesday to Every Saturday] - Shift Allowance of $18.50 Per Day
- Shift D: 7pm – 7am [Every Sunday to alternate Wednesday] - Shift Allowance of $18.50 Per Day
