Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer (Water Treatment) in Singapore to design and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes within our infrastructure projects. The role requires hands-on development of process calculations, PFDs/P&IDs and mass balance, with involvement in HAZOP studies and commissioning support.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma/ Degree in Engineering and at least 2 years in wastewater treatment tech.

• At least 2 years of working experience in the wastewater treatment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop process calculations for unit processes, piping loss and pump head calculations.
• Develop P&ID, PFD and mass balance.
• Manage detailed design of PID and mass balance.
• Ensure timely submission of process deliverables (PFD, P&ID, hydraulic profile, equipment sizing, HAZOP report).
• Participate in HAZOP study for the plant and systems.
• Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process specifications.
• Analyze current processes and streamline for improvement and productivity.
• Attend technical meetings with Client, Vendors and Internal Team.
• Support Software FAT and commissioning plantwide.

Our Client, an engineering company specialising in mechanical and electrical engineering, water and wastewater treatment systems, and infrastructure projects for public and private sectors, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Process Engineer (Water Treatment).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop process calculation for unit process, piping loss and pump head calculations.

• Develop P&ID, PFD and mass balance.

• Manage detailed design of PID and mass balance.

• Ensure timely submission of process deliverables, including PFD, P&ID, hydraulic profile, equipment sizing, HAZOP study report etc.

• Involve in HAZOP study for the overall plant and its system/ sub-system.

• Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications.

• Analyze and review current processes and streamline the process for improvement, enhancement and productivity calculation, sequence of operation, unit improvement and process troubleshooting.

• Attend technical meetings with Client, Vendors, Sub-Contractors and Internal Project Team.

• Support Software FAT, and commissioning plantwide.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or any related field

• At least 2 years of working experience in the wastewater treatment technologies

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Location : Jurong West

• Working Days/Hours : Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm

• Salary: S$5,000 higher (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
