Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. is seeking a process engineer to monitor and control plant processes using SCADA, identify abnormalities, and support waste treatment and incineration optimization.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Chemical/Process/Environmental Engineering or a related field, with strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills. You will work with operations, maintenance and other teams to continuously enhance plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant processes via SCADA to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Analyze process parameters and operating data to identify abnormalities and improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues with operations and maintenance teams.
• Support optimization of waste treatment and incineration processes to improve plant efficiency.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures and technical reports.
• Investigate process deviations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements.

Salary: Up to $4,500
Location: Tuas
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Transport: Company transport provided

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant processes through the SCADA system to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Analyse process parameters and operating data to identify abnormalities and opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and work closely with operations and maintenance teams to resolve them.
• Support the optimisation of waste treatment and incineration processes to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures and technical reports.
• Conduct investigations into process deviations and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor plant performance and ensure processes comply with operational, safety and environmental requirements.
• Work with internal teams to implement process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in process engineering, plant operations or a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred.
• Experience with SCADA systems or similar plant monitoring/control systems will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Candidates with experience in waste management, chemical processing, incineration or other process industries will be an advantage.
