Job description

The Opportunity:

A leading provider of engineering solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, specialising in the design and implementation of high-performance production systems, is seeking a Process Engineer.

You will support the safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing of life-saving medicines. Join a team that is shaping the future of pharmaceutical production.

As a Process Engineer, your responsibilities include designing, optimizing, and scaling up pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems and operations meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

What you will do:
  1. Design and improve manufacturing processes for drug production (biologics and/or small molecules).
  2. Support scale-up from lab or pilot to full-scale GMP production.
  3. Collaborate with automation, mechanical, and quality teams on process design and equipment integration.
  4. Conduct process risk assessments and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  5. Ensure all process designs comply with industry regulations (e.g., GMP, FDA, EMA).
  6. Support process validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.
What We’re Looking For:
  1. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environments is preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  5. Experience with cleanroom environments, process automation, or aseptic/sterile manufacturing is a plus.
