Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical/Industrial/Others).
  • At least 2 years of experience in the related field is required.
  • Knowledge of Bow Tie, LOPA, and FMEA is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate existing processes and SCADA system operations.
  • Perform risk assessments and lead safety management reviews.
  • Conduct process capability studies and audit current plant safety-related issues.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing processes, take measurements and interpret data including SCADA system operations (in line with company towards digitalization)
  • Audit the current Process Safety Information (PSI) and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
  • Perform risk assessments, hazard identification and line tracing
  • Lead/participate in review of process and operations (through process safety management) to enhance process safety
  • Reviewing Piping & Instrument Diagram (P&ID), Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and HAZOP Studies
  • Conduct process capability study, identify the bottleneck and develop action plant to resolve the issue.
  • Audit current plant process safety related issue for improvement
  • Knowledgeable in Bow Tie, LOPA and FMEA
  • Understand process hazards in operating plants and field operations
  • Research, and develop processes to optimize productivity, safety and workflow
  • Investigate any process related incident with recommendation of CAPA

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical) or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Strong working knowledge of process related standards, Process Improvement and Safety Management
