Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and implement chemical processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will manage process modifications, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and lead engineering projects with a focus on safety, cost reduction, and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize chemical processes using simulation tools.
Lead initiatives to reduce energy consumption, waste, and costs.
Oversee Management of Change (MOC) processes and conduct risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Manage projects from planning to execution, staying within budget and timelines.
Conduct safety reviews, hazard analyses, and implement corrective actions.
Mentor junior engineers and lead training on process optimization and compliance.
Monitor production metrics and generate reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Open for fresh graduates.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in chemical manufacturing or process engineering roles.
Proven expertise in managing large-scale engineering projects and leading process changes.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) systems and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
Strong understanding of chemical plant operations, unit processes, and thermodynamics.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Project management experience, SCEM and/or Water Efficiency Manager certified is a plus.
