Qualifications

• Hands-on in operating pilot plant processes and ensuring GMP/safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Operate pilot plant process/fill/pack runs to meet targets for prototypes and commercial runs.
• Collaborate with Engineering for equipment maintenance, inspections, and calibration.
• Review safety and health risk assessments and sustain safety culture.
• Establish SOPs and maintain documentation for Pilot Plant activities.
• Manage packaging material inventory and housekeeping in the area.

Duration: 1 year direct contract

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri Office Hours

Location: West

Job Description:

Hands-on in operating Pilot Plant process/fill/pack run to achieve target output (prototype trial, commercial run). This includes ensuring manpower/equipment/material readiness, site GMP, operation SOP adherence, food safety compliance, etc.

Participate design, installation and operation qualification of new or modified equipment and process lines.

Work with Engineering team to maintain equipment breakdown & preventive maintenance, annual PE inspection, calibration program, etc

Review Pilot Plant workplace safety and health risk assessment and sustain rightful safety culture.

Participate production commissioning project of other business units.

Manage packaging material inventory and staging area housekeeping.

Establish / review Pilot Plant SOP and maintain documentation.

Establish data collection system to ensure forward planning and minimum disruption to pilot plant trial.

Undertake other assignments and projects as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements: Min Degree in Engineering or similar w min 2 yrs of relevant process engineering or manufacturing operations experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry
