Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer to support pilot plant operations, product trials and equipment commissioning in a food and beverage manufacturing environment at Tuas. The role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of production, engineering and innovation.

Responsibilities include coordinating manpower and materials for smooth operations, assisting in installation and qualification of equipment, and driving process improvements while ensuring GMP and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant engineering field is required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations, preferably in F&B or FMCG.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000 or other food safety standards is advantageous.

• Oversee pilot plant processing, filling and packaging operations for prototype trials and commercial production runs.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and material readiness to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Support equipment installation, qualification, commissioning and process improvement projects.
• Work with Engineering and Production on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability and calibration.
• Ensure GMP, food safety standards, workplace safety, and SOP compliance.

We are looking for Process Engineer to support pilot plant operations, product trials, process improvement initiatives and equipment commissioning projects. Location: Tuas (walking distance from Tuas Link MRT)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.15pm

Employment Type: 1-year contract

Salary: Up to $4,200/month + AWS + Variable Bonus

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee pilot plant processing, filling and packaging operations for prototype trials and commercial production runs.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and material readiness to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Support equipment installation, qualification, commissioning and process improvement projects.
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability and calibration.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety standards, workplace safety requirements and operational SOPs.
• Develop and review operating procedures, maintain technical documentation and improve production planning processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, product quality and process reliability.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
