Job description

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes in a highly automated robotic assembly environment. The role focuses on reducing process inefficiencies, enhancing automation systems, and ensuring product quality. You will collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI), drive continuous improvement, and lead process validation efforts for cutting-edge robotics technology.

Permanent Position: Process Engineer
Working Schedules: Monday - Friday, Office Hours
Remuneration: Up to $5,800 + VB and Permanent Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, validate, and optimize robotic manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Develop pFMEA, control plans, SOPs, work instructions, and validation protocols.
  • Analyze production data and implement SPC to monitor process stability.
  • Investigate and resolve Out-of-Control (OOC) events, apply CAPA, and improve CPK.
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives for higher process efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and improve automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams for NPI and production readiness validation.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI-based automation and robotics solutions.
  • Support the development and improvement of QMS to meet ISO 9001 standards.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in robotics automation and assembly.
  • Proven experience in NPI, process validation, and product qualification.
  • Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo).
  • Familiar with SPC, PLCs, HMIs, and control systems troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulatory standards in robotics manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Able to lead process optimization initiatives independently.
