Job summary

EXXONMOBIL ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Chemical Process Engineer to join the technical team. You will provide process engineering support for operations, offer technical advice on daily issues, and participate in debottlenecking and optimization efforts.

The role includes safety initiatives such as risk assessments and HAZOP reviews, with responsibilities spanning process design and equipment strategy. The position may be assigned to either the Chemical Plant or Refinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
• Candidates with no experience are welcome.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of process modelling software and design tools for hydraulic calculations and TRV relief.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for operations.
• Provide technical advice for daily operational issues.
• Perform unit optimization, troubleshooting, and debottlenecking studies.
• Lead and participate in safety initiatives including risk assessments and HAZOP reviews.
• Support reliability improvements and equipment strategy development.
• Analyze complex technical issues and propose strategies for resolution.
• Develop and execute margin improvement ideas and projects.
• Role may be assigned to Chemical Plant or Refinery.
