DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Process Engineer for the AWS Data Center Physical Security team.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring our customers have continual access to the cloud services they rely on. We work on challenging problems with many variables impacting the supply chain, and we are looking for talented individuals to contribute.
You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and others. Your role will involve collaborating across AWS to uphold safety and security standards, while providing extensive capacity at optimal costs. We foster an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas and empowers you to see them through.
In this role, you will identify process improvements, develop innovative solutions, and implement automation for data center security operations. You will work with various teams to improve operational efficiency, reduce defects, and cut costs. Your responsibilities include developing automation solutions and GenAI-powered tools, ensuring standards are maintained, and leading projects from conception to deployment. This involves creating new tools, sharing best practices, and continuously enhancing performance through data-driven improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering and automation background, with experience in GenAI and process automation tools. You should be entrepreneurial, strategic, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and excellent collaboration and communication abilities are essential.
