Job summary

Merck Gruppe - MSD Sharp & Dohme in Singapore is seeking a Process Engineer/Chemist (WDA) to provide technical supply support on the commercialization and manufacture of drug products.

You will participate in investigations, validation, qualification, risk assessments and process safety, while contributing to continuous improvement and a global technical network to share site knowledge. The role also supports new product introductions and transfers between facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience from oil and gas, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries.
• Good verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Open to PMETs/Mid-Careerists with no prior biopharma experience.
• Singaporeans/PRs only.
• Two-year contract.

The Process Engineer/ Chemist (WDA) provides technical supply support on the commercialization and manufacture of drug products/substances

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supports all technical or process activities, for example, investigations, validation and qualification processes, risk and impact assessments and process safety management activities.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biological, Pharmaceutical, and/or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience from oil and gas, semiconductor or manufacturing industries preferred.

• Good verbal communication skill and technical writing skill.

• Attention to detail.
