Job summary

MSD Malaysia in Singapore is seeking a Process Engineer/Chemist (WDA) to support commercialization and manufacture of drug products. The role provides technical supply support across investigations, validation, qualification, risk assessments and process safety management.

You will participate in continuous process improvement and support knowledge sharing within the global network, contributing to site performance and new product transfers to other facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biological, Pharmaceutical, and/or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience from oil and gas, semiconductor or manufacturing industries preferred.
• Good verbal communication skill and technical writing skill.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports all technical or process activities, including investigations, validation and qualification processes, risk and impact assessments and process safety management.
• Supports continuous process improvement to enhance site performance metrics and shares knowledge within the global technical network.
• Supports introduction of new products to the site and transfer of drug products to other facilities.

• Supports all technical or process activities, for example, investigations, validation and qualification processes, risk and impact assessments and process safety management activities
• Supports continuous process improvement activities to enhance site performance metrics and contributes to the global company technical network to share site experiences and knowledge and continuously expands on personal expertise.
• Supports the introduction of new products to the site and the transfer of drug products to other facilities.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biological, Pharmaceutical, and/or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience from oil and gas, semiconductor or manufacturing industries preferred
