Job summary

MSD Malaysia in Singapore is looking for a Process Engineer / Chemist to provide technical supply support on the commercialization and manufacture of drug products. You will support various technical activities, including process improvement and the introduction of new products.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related fields, along with at least two years of relevant experience. The position offers excellent opportunities for career development in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

The Process Engineer / Chemist (WDA) provides technical supply support on the commercialization and manufacture of drug products/substances.

Responsibilities

• Supports all technical or process activities, e.g., investigations, validation and qualification processes, risk and impact assessments, and process safety management activities.
• Supports continuous process improvement activities to enhance site performance metrics and contributes to the global company technical network to share site experiences and knowledge.
• Supports the introduction of new products to the site and the transfer of drug products to other facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biological, Pharmaceutical, and/or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience from oil and gas, semiconductor or manufacturing industries preferred.
