Job summary

Pfizer Singapore is recruiting for permanent manufacturing roles at PFIZER ASIA MANUFACTURING PTE LTD (PAMPL) site expansion in Singapore. You will operate automated and manual process equipment, perform in-process QC analyses, and ensure adherence to GMP/GDP standards to support production.

You will participate in safety procedures, shift handovers, and documentation maintenance, contributing to continuous improvement and reliable supply for patients globally.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in a technical discipline or GCE 'O/A' levels; fresh school leaver or up to 2 years' relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or petrochemical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Operate automatic and manual chemical process equipment per SOP.
  • Perform in-process QC analyses to support batches.
  • Handle hazardous materials following safety procedures.
  • Maintain and update Manufacturing Standard Work and documentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prevent production interruptions.
  • Raise and investigate deviations and near-misses.
  • Participate in Emergency Response Team and CI activities.

What You Will Achieve

You will be operating automatic and manual chemical process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures. You will perform quality control analyses as required to complete in-process batches and identify variations. You will be trained in hazardous material handling and emergency procedures as these processes may generate high pressure and/or critical reactions. As part of technical operations, you will be a team member who is relied to have a good understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your decision making will help you prioritize workflows based on the available resources. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks, some of which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity and timing. You will contribute to the team’s success by sharing your previously acquired knowledge. It is your hard work and focus that will help in making Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Perform Material receiving, staging, material movement, dispensing, sampling, filter inspection, change out and charging operation as per SOP.
  • Perform sampling, intermediate and finished goods pack out as per SOP.
  • Perform pre-campaign set up, post campaign activities and change over cleaning.
  • Monitor process operation, trend and alarm using Delta V control system..
  • Ensure proper communication and handling over of shift duties.
  • Responsible for the updating of Manufacturing Standard Work and Operation Standard work.
  • Complete all documentation according to GMP and GDP standards.
  • Monitor the plant status and liaise with colleagues of other departments to ensure there is no interruption to the manufacturing process.
  • Troubleshoot all operating deviations and issues and coordinate with other function when required.
  • Responsible for preparation and cleaning of equipment for maintenance work Take immediate action to resolve any near miss situations.
  • Report all actual, near misses and potential accidents for further investigation.
  • Assist in investigation of all actual, near misses and potential accidents.
  • Provide information to troubleshoot and take initiative to resolve operational issues independently.
  • Perform system transaction and operation such as LIMS, AMPS, SAP, MTS, EMAS, etc
  • Complete all required training by attending scheduled training, CBT, OJT, JSA and read and understand.
  • Identify and communicate all operating deviations and problems.
  • Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Assist in project commissioning and validation activities as necessary.
  • Perform task in assigned process train, which includes day to day operation, equipment & line cleaning and documentation.
  • Perform operator care, identify and address equipment trains' observations that require mitigation action and/or raise work order to get back to desired condition.
  • Actively participates in CI activities.
  • Develop courses of action and drive implementation of solutions.
  • Uphold Pfizer's code of conduct and values.
Qualifications Must-Have
