Requisition ID: 75510

Job Responsibilities
  • Investigate root causes of yield loss in a volume semiconductor-manufacturing environment and track parametric and defect-related yield loss for RF filter product lines.
  • Deploy yield enhancement strategies to quickly characterize and react to yield issues and baseline shifts, performing first-level commonality analysis using sort yield data, inline metrology data, and defect data.
  • Develop and utilize tools for yield enhancement, including systems for tracking, reporting, and analyzing yield-related issues to simplify data interpretation.
  • Compile findings into daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
  • Analyze test parametric data, defect mapping, SPC (Statistical Process Control) data, inline metrology data, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) data, and defect pareto charts to identify trends and issues.
  • Collaborate with Process and Equipment Engineers to resolve yield issues by initiating corrective actions based on analysis results.
  • Contribute to productivity improvement projects through process optimization using quality improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for cost-saving projects related to process improvements and yield enhancement.
  • Work closely with Technology Development engineers to address process restrictions or equipment limitations impacting product yield or quality.
  • Support cross-functional teams in implementing solutions for yield improvement while ensuring alignment with production goals.
  • Participate in both short-term problem-solving efforts and long-term continuous improvement projects aimed at achieving targeted product yields.
  • Monitor product yields daily to identify low-yield issues early and highlight potential risks in production output for mitigation.
  • Develop new methods or tools for yield enhancement independent of existing practices to drive innovation in problem-solving.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field).
  • 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, JMP, MATLAB) and familiarity with SPC techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience with backend wafer process and probe test analysis is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and driving corrective actions.
