Job summary

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg) is seeking a Plant Supervisor to lead daily plant operations, ensure reliable nitrogen production, and maintain safety and compliance standards. You will coordinate with Industrial/Maintenance teams and interface with SIO Center and Business Development to secure uninterrupted product supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Preferably at least 1-3 years of experience in industrial process operations or production; experience in a related field is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of operational functions, technologies, and equipment used within the company.
• Self-motivated, independent, and proactive in seeking clarification or guidance when faced with uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, technical support, and shutdown maintenance for nitrogen generators and auxiliary systems to guarantee uninterrupted product supply.
• Drive site optimization programs, analyze operational data, and manage end-to-end liquid production, scheduling, and energy efficiency.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety rules, legal regulations, and IMS standards, while actively serving on the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance, analyzer calibrations, and emergency troubleshooting for planned and unplanned plant shutdowns.
• Manage daily customer expectations, supply reliability, consumption reporting, and inventory tracking to prevent service disruptions.

Supervise the operations of the unit by organizing the activity/workflow of the plant and making the interface with other teams (Industrial / Maintenance, SIO Center, Business Developer....)
