A leading company in the manufacturing sector seeks a Process Engineer to enhance assembly processes and drive automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will develop procedures, optimize efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety and health standards. Qualifications include a degree in Engineering and experience in robotics and process validation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing assembly processes to improve
efficiency and reduce defects, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and
regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, pFMEA, control plans, and
process validation documents.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and maintain and improve the
quality management system to ensure process consistency and adherence to
standards.
• Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve
process stability.
• Investigate, analyse Out-of-Control (OOC) events troubleshoot, resolve
engineering issues and implement corrective actions and improve Process
Capability (CPK).
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives to optimize
operations.
• Work with robotics, sensors, and AI-driven systems to enhance automation
efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automated
assembly.
• Evaluate and integrate new automation technologies into production lines.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or
related field).
• 3 years’ experience in robotic automation, assembly processes, and industrial
robotics electronics assembly.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting automated manufacturing systems.
• Experience in NPI, process validation, and product qualification is preferred.
