Process Engineer

Location: Jurong Island (Company transport from Jurong East provided)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reporting To: Production Manager

Salary & Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: S$3,500 to S$5,200

• Fixed Allowances:

  • Transport Allowance: S$140/month

  • Site Allowance: S$220/month

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:15pm

• Work Location: Jurong Island (Company bus provided from Jurong East)

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Process Engineer to support and drive improvements in safety, quality, and operational efficiency within our chemical processing plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual to contribute meaningfully to a company committed to high safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and improve safety and quality systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, IATF 16949, SS506 Part 3).

• Maintain compliance with all relevant legal and environmental obligations.

• Support efforts to reduce Major Accident Hazards (MAH) to ALARP levels and escalate when necessary.

• Ensure full adherence to Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).

Requirements:

• Only candidates with permanent work rights in Singapore are eligible to apply for this position.

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a chemical processing plant.

• Solid understanding of chemical engineering, mechanical systems, or polymer science.

• Experience with Process Safety Management, LOPA, or safety case preparation is a plus.

• Preferably certified SCEM, Steam Engineer, or Boiler Attendant.

• Working knowledge of ISO standards, cost control, and local regulations.
