Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company. The role focuses on implementing and sustaining BD Excellence in the Tuas Plant, driving productivity improvements, and managing Venflon improvement projects from design through validation and production rollout.

You will coach colleagues on continuous improvement, address top losses to boost OEE, participate in manufacturing projects, and uphold safety and ISO14001 environmental standards. This position is based at BD's Tuas Plant in Singapore.

• Implements and sustains BD Excellence work process for the manufacturing unit.
• Identifies and plan improvement projects for productivity improvement.
• Project management for Venflon improvement projects, including change control, MSA, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and producing validation documents and training.
• Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
• Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.

Job Description

• 1.1. Implements and sustains BD Excellence work process for the manufacturing unit.
• 1.2 Identifies and plan improvement projects for productivity improvement.
• 1.3 Project management for Venflon improvement projects. Responsible for change control, MSA, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and implementation to production. Includes developing process FMEA, work instruction and manufacturing documents and training of operators to perform validation activities.
• 1.4. Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
• 1.5. Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
• 1.6. Participate in manufacturing projects when required.
• 1.7. Safety and ISO14001 Environmental accountability. Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement, and reduction of resource materials.
• 1.8. Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.
• 1.9. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
