VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (VSMC) is a new joint-venture 300mm semiconductor wafer manufacturing fab to be built in Singapore. Role Summary:

You will be responsible for delivering robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing processes with data-driven analytics and systemic problem-solving skills in the following modules: Etch (Dry Etch, Wet Etch, Photolithography, Diffusion, Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), or Physical Vapor Deposition).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing, optimizing, and maintaining smooth daily manufacturing operations and solve issues promptly.
  • Work closely with process engineers to monitor manufacturing processes, scale up capacity swiftly, and maintain quality and urgency.
  • Continuously improve process stability and capability, enhance quality, reliability, yield, productivity, and safety standards.
  • Assist in conducting experiments, analyzing complex datasets, and deriving actionable insights to optimize manufacturing processes and precise controls.
  • Support the analysis of production anomalies and maintain/improve statistical process control (SPC) methods to establish and uphold robust manufacturing processes.
Education, Qualification & Essential Experiences
  • A Diploma or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Process Engineer with in-depth knowledge; experience working in a 12” fab would be advantageous.
  • Opportunity to travel to Taiwan for training (subject to needs and expectations).
